Warmly congratulate the establishment of the company’s trade union

On May 27, 2016, the Trade Union Committee of Sinoway Carbon (Shandong) Co., Ltd. was approved by the Federation of Trade Unions of Lingang Industrial Park of Weifang Binhai Economic and Technological Development Zone. Under the guidance and assistance of the Federation of Trade Unions of Lingang Industrial Park, our company held a meeting on the establishment of the Trade Union of Sinoway Carbon (Shandong) Co., Ltd. At the meeting, the Federation of Trade Unions listened to the preparatory work report submitted by the trade union preparatory group, and elected Zhao Xiulan, Manager of Comprehensive Management Department, as the chairman of the trade union through multi-candidate election. Comrade Zhao Mansheng was elected as the chairman of the first Funds Review Committee.

On behalf of the company and the Communist Party Branch, Zhang Weiguo, the company leader and Communist Party Branch Secretary, expressed warm congratulations on the establishment of the trade union, and put forward ardent expectations and clear requirements for the work of the trade union. He hoped that the trade union organization would fully play a good role, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of employees, and do a good job in the “caring culture” of employees. He also requested that trade union organization adhere to the principles of “democracy, fairness, and justice”, carry out various work of the trade union in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Law of the People’s Republic of China on Trade Unions and the Constitution of the Chinese Trade Unions, and improve employee satisfaction. Besides, he stated that especially at the current stage of the company, the trade union should give full play to its own role and contribute to the development of the enterprise.
