II. Environmental Impact Assessment and Other Administrative Permits
In 2011, the company commissioned Qingzhou Fangyuan Environmental Impact Assessment Service Co., Ltd. to conduct the environmental impact assessment (EIA) for this project. The EIA report was approved by the Weifang Environmental Protection Bureau on December 31, 2011, with the approval document number Wei Huan Shen Zi [2011] No. 303. The main construction was completed in October 2013, and the trial production approval was obtained from the Weifang Environmental Protection Bureau Binhai Economic Development Zone Branch on May 5, 2014, with the approval document number Wei Bin Huan Shi Zi [2014] No. 7. The project entered the trial production phase. In January 2015, the company submitted an acceptance application to the Weifang Environmental Protection Bureau Binhai Economic Development Zone Branch and received the environmental acceptance approval on June 13, 2015, with the approval document number Wei Bin Huan Yan [2015] No. 6, marking the commencement of formal production. On August 15, 2018, the second-phase project passed the self-acceptance inspection. During production, the company obtained a pollutant discharge permit (913707005845191988001V) to ensure compliance with emissions regulations.
III. Emergency Response Plan for Environmental Incidents
In accordance with the Ministry of Ecology and Environment's "Interim Measures for the Management of Emergency Response Plans for Environmental Incidents" and the "Measures for the Management of Emergency Response Plan Filing for Enterprises and Institutions," the company formulated an emergency response plan for environmental incidents and filed it with the environmental protection authorities.
IV. Construction and Operation of Pollution Control Facilities
Wastewater Treatment Facilities
The daily wastewater production is approximately 4.5 m³, primarily consisting of domestic wastewater. After treatment in the company's sewage treatment pool, the water meets standards and is reused for greening purposes.Waste Gas Treatment Facilities
Waste gas generated during production includes organized and unorganized emissions. Organized emissions consist of calcination waste gas from the petroleum coke calcination process, dust from the calcination furnace discharge, raw material dust, dust from product packaging and storage, and drying waste gas from ammonium sulfate. Organized emissions are treated with SNCR denitrification, high-efficiency bag filters for dust removal, and ammonia-based desulfurization towers before being discharged up to standard. Unorganized emissions mainly include fugitive dust from the calcination workshop, natural volatilization of stored materials, dust from vehicle loading and transportation, and minor leaks from equipment and pipelines. Fugitive dust in the calcination workshop is treated with bag filters. Other measures include installing dust-proof sheds and passive fans designed or selected according to national standards, with regular inspections and replacements to ensure proper operation and prevent pollution.
V. Emission Information
Includes the names of major pollutants and characteristic pollutants, emission methods, number and distribution of discharge outlets, emission concentrations and total amounts, exceedance situations, as well as the applicable pollutant emission standards and approved total emission limits.
