Medium-Sinoay forest - Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography, Chinese Academy of Sciences Xinjiang Burjin flying afforestation research and development project smoothly implemented
Recently, Sinoway Forest has carried out a total area of 16,000 mu of national secondary public interest forest land in the degraded sand in Burjin County, Altay Prefecture, Xinjiang, sowing 45 tons of tree species including red willow, haloxylon, sea buckthorn, artemisia annua, Caragana caragana seeds.
This flying planting work is the first operation of Sinoway Forest in northern Xinjiang. This project is also a scientific research project with Xinjiang Habitat Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Xinjiang Habitat Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences and several desert plant experts of Xinjiang Academy of Forestry will monitor the germination rate of tree species in this flying seeding in the whole process, and make scientific demonstration by means of satellite observation and on-site data collection.
Finally, the professional project appraisal report will be issued, which will provide scientific and professional basis and support for our flying seeding silviculture work in Xinjiang and the whole Northwest region.
