On December 7, 2016, Sinoway obtained the trademark registration certificates of the LOGO and Sinoway Carbon respectively.

After receiving the notification of the 2016 Winter Cross-country Long-distance Race for Employees in Binhai District, seven colleagues from Sinoway, i.e. Liu Yonggang, Wang Ruilu, Wang Zongrui, Wang Binglong, Yuan Qiang, Wang Ruixiang, and Meng Xiangchun, actively signed up to participate. In the competition on the afternoon of December 28th, Wang Ruilu from the maintenance workshop won 16th place and obtained the honorary certificate issued by the Binhai development zone government. Several other colleagues also achieved good results.
