Sinoway is making significant strides in the green energy sector with its commitment to sustainability and carbon reduction. The company has launched distributed photovoltaic (PV) projects at its factories in Jiangsu and Shandong, marking a key milestone in its pursuit of zero-carbon production.

On November 5, 2024, Sinoway Carbon (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. officially began construction on its 4,500 kWp distributed photovoltaic power generation project. With an area of 21,000 m², the system is designed to generate 4.8 million kWh annually, with 95% of the power consumed by the factory and 5% fed into the national grid. This self-generation model not only cuts electricity costs but also supports sustainability with surplus energy revenue. The project includes an energy storage system of 500 kW/1044 kWh, further optimizing the factory’s energy structure and reducing reliance on fossil fuels.

Additionally, Sinoway Carbon (Shandong) Co., Ltd. launched a 5.275 MW PV project on January 13, 2025. The project will cover 50,000 m² and is expected to generate 6.33 million kWh annually, further boosting the company's green energy efforts. By utilizing factory rooftops and ground space, the project also includes photovoltaic carports and charging stations. This will reduce carbon emissions by approximately 6,965 tons per year.

Sinoway remains committed to green processing and low-carbon production, with plans to continue innovating in clean energy solutions. These solar energy initiatives not only support the company's sustainable development but also contribute to global energy optimization and a cleaner, more sustainable future.
