On January 13, 2025, the 5822.025kWp distributed photovoltaic power generation project of Sinoway Carbon Co., Ltd. officially started construction. The total investment of the project is RMB 21.3568 million, and the construction scale is 5.27522 MW. The total area of the roof of the project is about 21,000 square meters, and the area of the attached trellis of the factory is about 29,000 square meters. The project will purchase 3472 pieces of 620Wp high-efficiency single crystal modules and 4398 pieces of 710Wp high-efficiency single crystal modules. The installed capacity of DC side will be 5,275.22kwp, and the inverters selected are string inverters with rated power of 320kW and 250kW respectively. There will be 8 units each, totaling 16 units, and the installed capacity on the AC side will be 4560kW.

After completion, it is expected that the annual power generation can reach 6.33 million kWh. By adopting the mode of "self use and surplus electricity grid connection", the factory's own electricity demand will be met, effectively reducing electricity costs, improving the economic efficiency of the enterprise, and helping to optimize the energy structure.

The project utilizes the roof and open space of the factory building, designs and installs photovoltaic modules according to the layout of photovoltaic arrays, and constructs photovoltaic carports and charging pile supporting services to improve resource utilization and ensure maximum power generation efficiency. After the completion of the project, it is expected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 6965 tons per year.

With the official launch of the project, the energy structure of Weifang factory is gradually transforming towards green, reducing dependence on fossil fuels and helping the company adopt a more low-carbon production mode, injecting strong impetus into the company's green and low-carbon transformation, and taking a solid step on the path of sustainable development.
